Tafraoute Bouldering

Week long expedition in the South West of Morocco.

A remote bouldering expedition in the Anti-Atlas Mountains.

Highlights include:

Exploring Oman’s boulder problems hidden deep in the Wadi’s across the Al Hajar Mountains

Interact and learn about local life in rural Oman; be that Bedouins in the desert or the Wadi guides deep in the mountains

Enjoy two nights camping in Umq Beer / the Valley of the Frogs; home to some of the country’s most secluded and exciting bouldering problems

Arrive Agadir

- Sleep first night in Agadir
- Trip introductions
1st night
Leaving after breakfast to Tafraoute (3-4 hours). Driving Southwest in our minibus.
- Tour of the ancient Amazigh banks en-route
- Arrive afternoon
- Introduction to Tafraoute town & the local bouldering spots
2nd night
Introduction to local bouldering spots
- Aguerd Oudad circuits (easy-intermediate)
- Evening cooking class with local family
3rd night
Exploring the hundreds of boulder problems in the valleys sorounding Tafraoute. Access to all locations and minivan transport for the week.
- Full day exploring different boulder areas
- Problem variety V0-V9
4th night
Full day hiking and swiming in and around the Ait Mansour Gorge.
- Full day excursion to Ait Mansour Gorge (50 min drive)
  17km gorge hike with swimming in natural pools
- Picnic lunch
- Return to for the Tafraoute evening
  
  5th night
Spend full day sport climbing on the cliffs sorrounding the valleys.

6th night
Final climbing day. Chance to boulder and climb in your favourite spots from the week.
- Big climbing session
- Local market visit (option to shop with our chefs)
- Evening celebration dinner
7th night
Drive back to Agadir (3- hours) Northwest.
