Introducing Arabia Divide: Our First Ultracycling Race
Arabia Divide is the first ultracycling race in the Middle East, let alone Saudi Arabia. Riders will cover roughly 1,450 kilometres and over 30,000 metres of climbing, starting in the coastal city of Jazan and finishing in Jeddah, with checkpoints at Al Habala and Al Bahah along the way.
"Aseer," the region these mountains take their name from, means "difficult" or "harsh" in Arabic. It is one of the most extreme and least-ridden ranges in the region.
We're organising this race because Saudi Arabia is in the middle of a genuine shift. Under Vision 2030, we're seeing more investment in sport, more women competing at an international level, and a rapidly growing cycling community that hasn't had a race like this built for it yet.
Arabia Divide runs 26 March - 4 April 2027. Entries and full route details are live now at arabiadivide.cc
